Do you remember 2012 and the end of the world?
It was hyped for months leading to the event: December 21st, 2012.
It's known as the Mayan Doomsday Event, the 2012 Phenomenon, and there was a film that depicted the cataclysms that 2012 would bring.
Not to be outpaced, the autodidactic preacher Harold Camping and his followers canvassed the U.S.A. to tell the world about how the world would end. His followers sold their homes, huddled into bunkers, and prepared for what would biblically come.
Of course, the world didn't end in an apocalyptic way - as far as I can tell. I can pinch myself to prove I'm still here.
But perhaps something else happened.
Something that's more subtle and hard to pin down.
This is a spark idea for a reason. I have a gut feeling that something did switch after 2012, but it's not in the way we think.
In this page, I will explore how the world did change after 2012, and what are the signs to look for when investigating the phenomenon.
Stay tuned.
